被问起当年为什么来上海，惊讶自己居然已经记不起来了。

是为了公平的竞争环境和广阔的事业前景？是为了光明正大地和女友同居？是为了寻找生活在大都市的感觉？是为了逃避父母的关心和期望？是为了同学聚会的时候“海漂”的面子？……刚才说什么了？

I found a place nearby where there are art galleries, clubs, cafes, and a park. There was no party last night. I spent some time at a lounge. Beer was no good.

The interesting part is that I met two European people and talked about the news controlling policy of Chinese government. They seemed to be quite supportive on this. The reason was that otherwise it would be impossible to keep 1.3 billion people safe and together.

I can’t say that I fully agree with them, but I gotta admit these guys do have a point. I don’t know where they get this idea, but according to them, recently the free VPN services are getting blocked, while the paid ones still work as fine. And they believe it is because the government figures that the people who are willing to pay for VPN services are better educated and richer, which means they are less likely to raise a revolution or something.

Well, maybe it is true that the government is just doing what they believe to be right for the country. But it doesn’t change the fact that as an individual, it is definitely better to live an European life than a Chinese one. Though they are complaining about the high tax rate (the Serbian guy said almost 60% of his yearly income was taken as tax), they can still afford cars, and houses with yards. And they even have all the air that is safe to breath, the water safe to drink, and food safe to eat…

Okay, I guess it is not really important who was right. The most important thing to me is that this discussion has led me to a further step in thinking.

I always say that one should not waste too much of his life on complaining, because complaining never changes a thing. And when I say complaining, it of course includes complaining about the government. If one can’t stand it where he is, the best way is always to leave. The second best is to change himself. The third is to change the environment. The fourth, and the least good one, is to complain while doing nothing.

本来还以为是愚人节玩笑，没想到居然是真的。上海市政府要免费赠送“世博大礼包”，包括一张世博门票和一张200块钱的交通卡。持上海户口领取，一户一份。

上海户口，又是上海户口！我他妈的是少交你一分钱税了，还是多吸你一口空气了？

一个月以后的某天，会有一个我不认识的有上海户口的SB，去看这个什么SB会，……由我买单。

上一辈的哲者一度坚信他们的文章可以拯救麻木的世人，就像尼采附体。30年的坚持之后，他们放弃了救世主式的英雄主义，选择了与年轻一代哲者一致的“冷漠的”人生观。

然而年轻一代其实并不因此而优于前者，因为他们其实都没能摆脱时代的影响。

30年前，也许尼采那一套的确曾经管用过。所以30年后，才会每个人心里都有个尼采。

再过30年，今天这些看似洒脱的哲者也将“落伍”，就像如今被冷落的说教派一样。

原来连哲者也无法真正的超脱。

立法禁吃狗肉影响民族和睦，破坏社会安定，是构建社会主义和谐社会道路上前所未有的最大的障碍。

立法禁吃狗肉显然不是为了保护濒危物种，而完全是由于某一人群对狗的喜爱。

那么，且不论是不是有人主张辛劳一生又被吃掉的老黄牛才是人类最忠诚的朋友，只说说我们身边不吃猪肉的回族同胞。

这么多年来，为什么就没有人提过立法禁吃猪肉呢？回民出于民族信仰对于猪的看法，是不是比一群大学女生和家庭主妇们对她们宠物的感情更值得优先考虑呢？

还有那些从小吃狗肉汤狗肉酱长大的朝鲜族同胞。立法禁吃狗肉，可以说不但是对其民族生活习惯的野蛮干涉，更是对其民族饮食文化的直接破坏。

嗤！还有比这愚蠢的立法提案么？

PicasaWeb被封已经几个月了，恢复的希望越来越小，没法指望了。只好开始尝试其它的在线相册解决方案。Gallery2做得太罗嗦，我不喜欢。也试了很多其它的，用着都不太方便。短期内也没什么好办法，干脆先让WordPress管理一段时间吧。

这两张都是用Hero拍的，一张室内灯光，一张室外夜景。

腾讯公司继续这样搞下去，就没几年活头了。

2003年12月1日，第一次站在黄浦江边，望着对岸的璀璨耀目，迈出了寻梦之旅的第一步。一转眼已经过去六年有余。

六年前认识我的人们，在六年后的今天认识我的人们，还有在这六年中认识我的人们，我不知道对于他们每一个人，我是什么样子。我只知道，在他们所有人眼中的我，绝不是同一个人。可是究竟哪一个才是真正的我呢？六年前那个笨手笨脚笨嘴笨舌的胖子？六年后这个见谁都能微笑着聊几句的……家伙？还是这六年中的哪一天里哪一刹那的哪一个神情？……

其实人的一生追求的不过就是一个定义——“谁是我？”。不论中国的还是外国的一个个哲学家，写了一本又一本少有人读得懂的著作，不外都是希望为世人提供一个定义自己的标准。读得懂书的人，或者读不懂而只能追随宗教的人们，想要探寻的其实也都是那个标准。

有的人过于在乎来自他人的定义，有的人过于在乎来自自我的定义。但是绝没有人能全不在乎。

不知道是应该受宠若惊，还是该大跌眼镜。居然有人说我单纯？如果现在这世界上只有一个词不应该用来形容我，那恐怕就是＂单纯＂了。

尤其是最近这些天，突然发现我已经不认识自己了。我现在不但可以接受自己本来无法接受的事，更可以接受你们永远不可能接受的事。

我自己倒是没啥，我可以平静地接受自己的改变。不过你们，到今天还觉得我＂单纯＂的人，可要小心了。小心哪天被我骗了还不知道呢。

两人胜三人。

都不如无人。
